It will cost fans from $8 to $25 per ticket to see the Diamondbacks or Rockies play at their new spring training home, Salt River Fields at Talking Stick. The complex is being built in North Scottsdale at the 101 freeway and Indian Bend Road.

General admission lawn seating for 4,000 people will be $8 and tickets for 7,000 reserved seats in the seating bowl will range from $15-$25. Here's the actual breakdown: Infield Box $25, Dugout Reserve $21, Infield Reserve $20, Party Decks $19, Baseline Reserve $15 and Lawn $8.

D-backs CEO Derrick Hall said the new ballpark is "designed to offer plenty of shade for fans in the reserved seating bowl while also having the largest lawn seating area in the Cactus League for fans wanting to watch a game from a more casual point of view."

If you had season tickets to the D-backs or Rockies in Tucson, you get the opportunity to buy season tickets for "The Stick," (no wait, that's Candlestick Park in SF- how about "The Salt Palace? No, that was in Utah..) first.

Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community members can begin purchasing season tickets on Nov. 22 (the complex is owned by the Native American community) and D-backs and Rockies regular-season season-ticket holders will be able to purchase tickets from Dec. 1-4. Season-ticket plans will be available to the general public starting on Dec. 6. All of these priority purchase dates are subject to change.

Both teams will announce their Cactus League exhibition schedules at a later date. The public on-sale date for individual game tickets will also be announced at a later date.

All in all, those prices aren't too bad and pretty consistent with the rest of the Cactus League. Camelback Ranch (Dodgers/White Sox), Hohokam Park (Cubs) and Scottsdale Stadium (Giants) were the most expensive spring training tickets last year.
