The Phoenix Suns return home to host the Philadelphia 76ers as the team tries to get their first win of 2013 and snap a six-game losing streak.
The losing streak has sent the Suns to the bottom of the Pacific Division standings and near the cellar of the Western Conference, with only the New Orleans Hornets sitting worse than the Suns.
The 76ers have also struggled as of late, losing eight of their last 10 games. They boast a top-10 defense, however, only allowing 95.7 points per game.
This is the second and final of two meetings between the two teams this season. The 76ers won the first game at home, 104-101, on Nov. 25. Michael Beasley scored 21 points in the contest and Marcin Gortat added 18.
Game time/date: 6 p.m. PT, Jan. 2
Odds: The Suns opened the game favored by three points and that spread has stretched from four and a half to five points.
