Grant Hill Rumors: Free Agent Forward Will Either Follow Steve Nash To Lakers Or Retire

Steve Nash is gone to the Los Angeles Lakers. Could Grant Hill be on his way to joining him?

Hill is also getting up there in age, and he's running out of time to try and win a championship. At 39 years old (and will turn 40 before the beginning of this season), Hill's window is short with maybe a year or two left before his production fades to irrelevance or he decides to hang it up.

It looks as if the Lakers will make their move on Hill, and it's the only team the forward will contemplate this offseason before deciding. Frank Isola tweeted this a little time ago.

Hill would probably end up as the backup small forward behind Metta World Peace in the current rotation unless the Lakers decide to make a few more deals. He'd be a solid contributor and it'd be a great capping of a career that had been tinged with disappointment and injury if he could win a ring in his twilight years.

Talk about Hill with Suns fans at Bright Side of the Sun, and with Lakers fans at Silver Screen and Roll.
