It's starting to look as if Steve Nash has a preference for where he wants to play next season. Nash seems to be leaning toward any sort of sign-and-trade that would land him with the New York Knicks.
However, two other suitors aren't yet conceding defeat in their pursuit of Nash. Marc Stein has this report.
Beyond any sign-and-trade talks, Mavericks remain in talks w/Steve Nash as well, sources say. I'm told Raps aren't conceding yet, either

The Toronto Raptors have really offered Nash a huge deal; the fact that he hasn't signed yet has to give you the idea that he probably won't end up there when all is said and done. The Dallas Mavericks also aren't giving up now that they've lost out on Deron Williams; they'll probably need a point guard and Nash would be a good fit with his old teammate Dirk Nowitzki.
The Knicks seem to be at the forefront, but don't count out any of the other teams as contenders to get him back.
Talk about Nash with Mavericks fans by going over to Mavs Moneyball, and with Raptors fans by going over to Raptors HQ.
