The NBA offseason rumor mill is in full force already, and last week there were whispers that the Suns were offering free agent Steve Nash $12 million over two years to stay in Phoenix. However, that rumor remains unsubstantiated by the team or Nash's camp, and now 620 KTAR Phoenix's John Gambadoro is refuting it.
Contrary to various reports I can assure you the Suns did not make a 2-year 12 mill offer to Steve Nash. No contract has been discussed

Nash has several suitors thus far, including the Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks, and the Toronto Raptors. It's still unclear how much the Suns are willing to pay to retain their point guard for the last eight years, but it appears the report of $12 million over two years jumped the gun.
