Wesley Johnson To Phoenix Suns, Robin Lopez To New Orleans Hornets In Three Way Deal

A three-way trade between the Phoenix Suns, New Orleans Hornets and Minnesota Timberwolves has apparently occurred that will send Wesley Johnson from Minnesota to Phoenix and Robin Lopez and Hakim Warrick to New Orleans. Here are the details of the trade from Brett Martel of the Associated Press.

Phoenix Suns

  • Receive Johnson and first-round draft pick from Minnesota

New Orleans Hornets

  • Receive Lopez and Warrick from Phoenix

Minnesota Timberwolves

  • Receive Jerome Dyson and Brad Miller's expiring contract from New Orleans.

It seems every team benefits from this. New Orleans now has a true center to back up Anthony Davis and provide the Hornets with a solid rotation of Davis, Ryan Anderson and Lopez in the frontcourt. Minnesota will now apparently have the cap space flexibility to try and go after Andrei Kirilenko and plug up a huge weakness at small forward.And the Suns have a potential small forward of the future they can develop and
