The Phoenix Suns are probably going to have to end up rebuilding this offseason with Steve Nash likely heading to a new team. It probably means the Suns will have to take on new faces from new places. Michael Beasley and Eric Gordon are two potential targets, according to Sam Amick of Sports Illustrated.
As for Phoenix, a return to the Suns [for Nash] continues to appear unlikely. They are not among the teams aggressively pursuing him in the opening days of free agency and, according to the Arizona Republic, have instead been focusing on free agents like Michael Beasley and Eric Gordon.
Gordon is a sharpshooter, and the Suns were very deficient at shooting guard this past season. Gordon provides Phoenix with a scorer who should be able to keep Phoenix's offense from dropping off too much if Nash ends up departing.
