Steve Nash Rumors: Conflicting Reports On Phoenix Suns Offering PG New Deal

It appeared the Phoenix Suns aren't making Steve Nash a high priority. Although Phoenix is reportedly offering Nash two years and $12 million, it's not quite as lucrative as the deal the Toronto Raptors are throwing his way. It just might not be enough to bring him back, even though it's a modest deal.

However, could Phoenix be moving on from Nash entirely? Chris Broussard's latest report seems to indicate it's possible the Suns aren't giving Nash any deal at all.

It'd be pretty shocking if Phoenix wasn't pursuing Nash at all in free agency, but it certainly wouldn't be unprecedented. The Suns do tend to make some curious decisions regarding who they keep and who they sign, and sometimes it involves cost-cutting measures. Perhaps spending a lot on Nash isn't recommended.
