Suns Interested In Keeping Shannon Brown, Could Pursue Courtney Lee

The Phoenix Suns made a bit of a surprising move on Sunday, winning the bid on forward Luis Scola. While he will be an important part to the roster, there are still areas of need to address. According to the latest reports out of Phoenix, the team hopes to keep guard Shannon Brown around. If that option fails, they're also expected to make a move on Courtney Lee.

Here's the latest:

As for Brown, he showed moments of promise last season, although his shot-happy tendencies became frustrating for the fan base. Brown appeared in 59 games last season with Phoenix, averaging 11 points-per-game while hitting 42% of his shot attempts.

As for Lee, he spent the last two years with the Rockets and averaged 11 points a night. Given the wacky situation in Houston right now, it's anyone's guess whether or not Lee returns. The main reason he could be of interest to the Suns: he's a 40% shooter from behind the 3-point line.

These are just rumors as of now, but it does not seem like the Suns are anywhere close to wrapping up their offseason.
