Kendall Marshall visited the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday, meaning he is the only draft prospect on record to have visited the Suns multiple times this offseason. There is no question the Suns are targeting a perimeter player in this year's draft, especially with the potential loss of Steve Nash.
Marshall is one of the top point guard prospects in the draft. His athleticism and scoring ability is limited, but his ability to run the offense in the half-court and in transition are impressive. Additionally, he has arguably the best passing vision and ability out of this year's crop of prospects.
Suns Director of Player Personnel John Treolar said this about Marshall in a recent article on the Arizona Republic:
There are going to be questions until he goes out there and shows what he can do in the NBA. ...Personally, I think he'll improve in the NBA. He makes players better.
Damian Lillard from Weber State is another prospect the Suns could be targeting, but he might be gone by the time the Suns pick at No. 13.
