ESPN's Chad Ford released his Mock Draft 8.0 on Tuesday and has the Phoenix Suns selecting University of Washington shooting guard Terrence Ross with the no. 13 overall pick.
Here's what Ford had to say about Ross and the Suns:
He's big, he's super athletic and he can really shoot the basketball. The Suns desperately need help in their backcourt, and Ross could be a very solid addition.
There's a good chance Ross won't have Steve Nash in the desert to pass to him but he could be a welcomed addition to the rebuilding project in Phoenix. He has a little bit of Joe Johnson to his game aside from the proven ability to create for others.
Ross could come in with a chip on his shoulder due to him trying to prove that he should have been chosen ahead of fellow two-guards in UConn's Jeremy Lamb, Duke's Austin Rivers and Syracuse's Dion Waiters, which would be a good thing for a Suns team looking for some edge.
