2012 NBA Draft: Phoenix Suns To Work Out Fab Melo, Andrew Nicholson And More

The Phoenix Suns have only one draft pick in 2012. They'll have to make it count.

The Suns are organizing their first draft workouts this week, and they'll be checking out six players today according to Bright Side of the Sun: Syracuse center Fab Melo and St. Bonaventure big man Andrew Nicholson are the two players among the players being worked out who probably have a chance at getting picked in the first round. Could it suggest Phoenix is looking toward taking a big man with their lone pick?

The examination of players like PG Zack Rosen, PG Ashton Gibbs, SG Alex Young, and SG Chris Johnson is interesting. Perhaps Phoenix is hoping to get lucky and land an undrafted free agent, or find targets to analyze further in Summer League.

Talk about how well Melo and Nicholson would fit in Phoenix with Suns fans over at Bright Side of the Sun.
