2012 NBA Mock Draft: Phoenix Suns Should Look At Austin Rivers, Kendall Marshall, Jeremy Lamb

The Phoenix Suns are likely getting ready to move on beyond the Steve Nash era. Nash is a free agent this summer and nearing the end of his career, so it's unlikely Phoenix will be relying on Nash going forward.

Phoenix should look to find some replacements for Nash in the draft. Finding a pure point in this draft isn't likely to happen, but there are definitely some quality guards available. Who's worth taking?

HoopsWorld releases their 2012 NBA Mock Draft, and it has the Suns looking at three different players with their first round pick. Two writers have the Suns needing Austin Rivers of the Duke Blue Devils, and the other two are looking at Kendall Marshall of the North Carolina Tar Heels and Jeremy Lamb of the Connecticut Huskies.

Rivers isn't a franchise guard, but it does provide Phoenix with a valuable addition to their backcourt who could very well be starting down the line. Marshall would probably be the best point guard available at that point in the draft. While Lamb is more of a shooter, he would give Phoenix an offensive weapon on that side fo the court.
