Could the Suns end up with a high draft pick?

The NBA Lottery will take place on Wednesday night, and it will determine the order of the first 14 picks at the 2012 NBA Draft in June. The Phoenix Suns will have the second-worst odds to land the No. 1 overall pick, which likely guarantees that team Kentucky big man Anthony Davis and his glorious unibrow. Given the Suns' strong play all season their extremely low odds of moving up in the lottery was to be expected.

Start Time: The lottery is set for 8 p.m. ET, which is 5 p.m. Arizona time. The actual draft order will likely be determined around 5:15 or so in case you don't feel like watching a few fluff pieces before the actual numbers are announced.

TV Coverage: ESPN will air the selections live.

Online Stream: You can also find the lottery order announced live through WatchESPN.com

Odds:

Team - Chances of #1 pick - Chances at top-3 pick

Bobcats - 25% - 64.19%
Wizards - 19.9% - 55.74%
Cavaliers - 13.8% - 42.57%
Hornets - 13.7& - 42.33%
Kings - 7.6% - 25.5%
Nets - 7.5% - 25.19%
Warriors - 3.6% - 12.66%
Raptors - 3.5% - 12.32%
Pistons - 1.7% - 6.1%
Timberwolves - 1.1% - 3.97%
Trail Blazers - 0.8% - 2.9%
Bucks - 0.7% - 2.54%
Suns - 0.6% - 2.18%
Rockets - 0.5% - 1.81%

There always seems to be one team each year that somehow flies up the lottery boards, and maybe it'll be the Suns. Who knows ... maybe a high draft pick will be enough to keep Steve Nash in town for a few more years.
