2012 NBA Mock Draft: Phoenix Suns Pick Damian Lillard

The Phoenix Suns might need a point guard in the 2012 NBA Draft. If Steve Nash stays or goes, he is getting up there in age, and the Suns could use an heir apparent or a replacement at the position depending on the situation.

DraftExpress releases his latest mock, and it has the Suns taking Damian Lillard of Weber State with their only pick in the draft. Lillard is considered the best point guard prospect available on the board (or right there with Kendall Marshall of North Carolina), and he could very well be the player that the Suns look to lead them in the future. Whether as a backup to Nash or the new starter, he figures to fit in perfectly in Phoenix.

Talk about the possibility of the Suns drafting Lillard at Bright Side of the Sun.
