Suns Vs. Lakers Final Score: Phoenix Stuns L.A., 125-105

The Phoenix Suns hosted the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday in hope of picking up some more wins as their season winds down. The Lakers were without superstar Kobe Bryant, who sat out the game with a shin injury. The Lakers suffered for his absence, much to the delight of the Suns, who kept piling on points for the 125-105 win.

The Suns fell behind early, as the second quarter opened with the Lakers leading, 32-24. Phoenix soon turned things around, however, outscoring their visitors by 13 points in the second quarter and holding a 62-57 lead at halftime. The Suns would only keep adding to that lead as they stunned the Lakers en route to the victory.

Shannon Brown and Michael Redd led the charge for the Suns in the game. Brown had 24 points, five rebounds and three assists, while Redd put up 23 points and had two steals.

Pau Gasol had a huge game for the Lakers in Bryant's absence, collecting a huge double-double with 30 points and 13 rebounds.
