Steve Nash Wants a 3-Yr Contract? Why Not? [Video]

With all the talk recently about Steve Nash's future, in particular about how Nash would like to get a three-year contract this offseason, we thought we ought to chime in on the topic. After all, Steve Nash is probably the most important athlete in Phoenix.

At age 38, for most it would seem foolish to give him a three-year deal. However, even now he is one of the best point guards in the game. he leads the league in assists and has shown everyone time and time again that he is still on top of his game.

The Phoenix Suns have a very important offseason, and Nash is part of that. Should the Suns entertain the thought of three more years of Nash?

Of course! They don't have anyone better on their roster. He is still playing at an extremely high level. He takes incredible care of his body. He can still shoot the ball. His court vision is amazing.

Nash defies all logic with his age. At this point, I don't think we are ever going to see a real decline in his play. He is going to play well until the day he retires.
