The Phoenix Suns still have a shot at making it into the NBA playoffs, but they certainly haven't made it easy on themselves. Dropping a game to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday was detrimental and now Phoenix finds themselves in a true must-win scenario heading into their next game on Tuesday night.
Each of the three teams still battling for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference only have two games remaining, as Paul Coro of AZCentral breaks down. The Suns must win against the Utah Jazz on Tuesday to avoid being eliminated. If they can then defeat the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday, they will clinch a spot. If they manage to defeat the Jazz but suffer a loss against the Spurs, they will need the Jazz to lose their final game and the Houston Rockets to lose one of their final two games.
But it all comes down to Tuesday night. The Suns will need to defeat the Jazz to even keep their chances alive into their final game.
