Alive.
Thanks to a thrilling victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on Thursday night, the Phoenix Suns are tied for eighth place in the Western Conference. The Suns' 93-90 victory puts them in complete control of their playoff destiny. Phoenix is two wins away from clinching a playoff spot.
Currently, the Suns are dead even with the Utah Jazz with both teams holding 33-30 records. The Suns' next game is on Saturday against the seventh-seeded Denver Nuggets who are (34-30). Then, the Suns will head to Utah on Tuesday, April 24th before finishing their season against the San Antonio Spurs (45-16) on Wednesday.
If the Suns beat the Nuggets and the Jazz, then they will make the playoffs. And that's a happy thought for Suns fans whose team started the season out with a 5-14 record.
The Jazz have a game on Saturday against Orlando before Tuesday's game against Phoenix. They'll finish their season on on Thursday, April 26th against the Portland Trail Blazers.
