Hoopsworld.com is reporting that the Golden State Warriors are expected to sign Hickson:
The Golden State Warriors have emerged as the frontrunner to sign J.J. Hickson after he clears waivers, according to sources close to the situation. Hickson was waived by the Sacramento Kings on Monday afternoon.
Hickson will clear waivers in 48 hours and league sources expect him to sign with Golden State.
The Kings originally acquired Hickson from the Cleveland Cavaliers in a trade last June. Back spasms have prevented Hickson from having an impact for the Kings; he has only played six minutes in the team's last ten games.
