During Saturday night's Sprite Slam Dunk Contest, the third round included players paying homage to some classic players and dunks of the past. Arizona Wildcats alum Chase Budinger was called upon to perform a tribute to onetime Phoenix Sun player Cedric Ceballos, who performed a blindfolded dunk in 1992, which won him that year's slam dunk competition. Budinger missed his first attempt, but the second try was successful and...dare I say it...perhaps even more impressive than the original. Check out the video after the jump.
The dunk was not as graceful as the previous two by Budinger, but had a lovely finish. Well I liked it, anyway. Here it is in animated form:
