The Phoenix Suns fell to 7-12 on the season with a 108-98 overtime loss to the Memphis Grizzlies. Rudy Gay put up a floater to tie the game at 94-94, and Jermaine O'Neal was not able to finish for the Suns, sending the game into overtime. Memphis would dominate the overtime stretch, outscoring Phoenix 14-4.
The Suns had six players score in double figures. Goran Dragic had 19 points, Luis Scola put up 16 off the bench, Jared Dudley had 13, O'Neal 12, Marcin Gortat 11 and Shannon Brown 10.
Zach Randolph led the way for Memphis with a monster game, scoring 38 points and grabbing 22 rebounds, including seven off the offensive glass. Randolph also blocked three shots and needed only 22 field goal attempts to put up 38. Quincy Pondexter had 16 points off the bench, Gay and Marc Gasol added 14, and Mike Conley scored 11.
This is the fourth straight loss for the Suns.
