Phoenix Suns point guard Goran Dragic is No. 1 in the weekly team power rankings, according to the good folks over at Bright Side of the Sun.
Dragic didn't do anything spectacular to earn the top billing, but he didn't quite do anything to lose it, either. That's been the way this season's gone for the Suns, and their uninspired play has this group of players fairly evenly matched in terms of their value to the team and relative star power. Dragic averaged 13 points, four rebounds, four assists and two steals per contest last week, which made him the most productive player in his 27 minutes per game. He moved two spots up from third place a week ago.
Rounding out the top five were Michael Beasley at No. 2, Jermaine O'Neal ranked third, Marcin Gortat fourth and Luis Scola fifth. Phoenix is a disappointing 1-3 over the last week of action and will look to stay relevant in a competitive Western Conference.
