Following two big wins over the Memphis Grizzlies and the Utah Jazz last week, the Phoenix Suns are gaining ground in a majority of NBA Power Rankings.
ESPN's Marc Stein has the Suns (9-15) up three spots to No. 24 in this week's rankings. Stein notes that the Suns' win over the Grizzlies was the fifth time the team has erased a double-digit deficit to walk away with a victory.
Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports released his NBA Power Rankings on Tuesday and moved the Suns up to No. 23 as a result of their three-game winning streak. Phoenix landed at No. 26 in Spears' rankings last week.
Matt Moore of CBSSports.com has the Suns making the biggest jump this week, boosting them five spots to No. 22, but facetiously remarks that the team has "a great shot at the playoffs, provided they play every game ever at home."
SB Nation's own Seth Rosenthal rewarded the Suns for their strong play of late by sliding them into the No. 23 spot in this week's rankings, up four spots from their position in last week's poll.
