Suns Vs. Cavs game recap: Phoenix rides late run to 107-105 win at home

Goran Dragic led all scorers with 26 points as the Suns mounted a furious comeback to defeat the Cavs at home.

The Phoenix Suns went on an 8-3 run to cap a furious comeback after trailing for most of the game to shock the Cleveland Cavaliers, 107-105, at the US Airways Center on Friday.

Goran Dragic led all scorers with 26 points on 9-of-16 shooting, adding four assists and two steals on the night. Shannon Brown had another stellar game for Phoenix, adding 22 points off the bench and went 2-of-4 from the three-point line.

The Cavaliers led by as much as 26 points and never trailed in the game until the fourth quarter, when Brown scored 12 of his points and hit a key three to tie the game at 91 apiece.

Cleveland shot 66.7 percent from the field in the first quarter and outscored the Suns 37-16. The Cavs scored 22 points in the paint and dominated Phoenix inside to take the early lead. Every Cavaliers starter scored in the first quarter.

Rookie Dion Waiters continued to impress and led the Cavaliers with 23 points on 9-of-13 shooting, including 3-of-5 from deep.

Phoenix will face a quick turnaround as the team travels to Salt Lake City to play the Utah Jazz on Saturday night.
