The Phoenix Suns dropped in a majority of power ranking polls after losing two consecutive games last week.
Seth Rosenthal of SB Nation finds the Suns at No. 26 overall, about in the middle of where most other major publications find the Suns. Rosenthal cites the Suns' lack of consistency, which looking at the new lineup could very well be a common occurrence this season:
They're not even thaaaaaat bad so far, just super flaky and unreliable, which, when you look at who's getting minutes, kind of makes sense. Regardless of context, watching Luis Scola in his new home has been fun.
The Suns dropped seven spots in CBS Sports rankings down to No. 26 as well. ESPN.com's rankings only had the Suns dropping three spots down to No. 27. Both mentioned the 115-94 collapse against an Orlando team missing both Jameer Nelson and Hedo Turkoglu.
Yahoo! Sports had the Suns ranked the highest of everyone – only at No. 25. The Suns dropped from No. 19 in Yahoo!'s previous rankings.
The Suns already dropped a game to the Miami Heat on Monday night, but have a chance to rebound in the rankings with games against the Cleveland Cavaliers and Charlotte Bobcats later this week.
