Luis Scola led the Suns with 24 points on 10-19 shooting from the field in 32 minutes. Michael Beasley chipped in with 22 points while Marcin Gortat recorded his second consecutive double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Scola leads the Suns in scoring at 17.3 points per game while Gortat is averaging a team-high 12.0 rebounds. Goran Dragic is averaging 8.7 assists per game which ranks ninth in the league.
The loss dropped the Suns to 1-2 on the season, one game behind the 2-1 Los Angeles Clippers and Golden State Warriors.
