Suns vs. Magic recap: Phoenix handed an embarrassing 115-94 loss on the road

Perhaps the Magic aren't the worst team in the NBA after all as Orlando easily defeated the Suns Sunday, 115-94.

The Phoenix Suns came out flat in the second act, blowing a 10-point halftime lead in a 115-94 loss to a mediocre Magic team. J.J. Redick lead the way for Orlando with 24 points off the bench while the Suns wasted a solid performance from Luis Scola (24 points, seven rebounds and four assists on 10-of-19 shooting).

The Suns started hot enough, earning 20 points in the paint in their 33-point first quarter. But after the teams left the locker rooms to start the second half, the wheels came off with Phoenix going 3-of-14 from the field in the final 8:07 of the third quarter. The Suns chose an awful time to go cold too as Glen Davis and Aaron Afflalo combined for 24 points in the first 15 minutes after the half.

After allowing 40 points in the third, things wouldn't get much better in the final quarter as the team was outscored by 11 points with Phoenix defenders seeming lost most of the time.

From a glass half full perspective, Kendall Marshall and Luke Zeller were able to make their NBA debuts in the waning minutes of this one with the game out of hand.

Things certainly won't be getting any easier for the Suns Monday either as Phoenix is set to face off against the Miami Heat as their Florida road trip continues.
