2012 NBA schedule: Suns in action twice this weekend

The Phoenix Suns will look to rebound from their season-opening loss to the Golden State Warriors this weekend with two games on the schedule. The Suns host the Detroit Pistons on Friday before traveling to Orlando to face the Magic on Sunday.

Detroit Pistons at Phoenix Suns, 8 p.m. MT Friday, Local TV affiliates

Both Detroit and Phoenix are looking to get win No. 1 of the season after losing their openers Wednesday. Detroit lost to the Houston Rockets, 105-96, and Phoenix fell to the Golden State Warriors, 87-85.

Phoenix Suns at Orlando Magic, 4 p.m. MT Sunday, Local TV affiliates

Orlando will play its second game in three days at the Amway Center, starting the post-Dwight Howard era off with two straight home games. With Howard in Los Angeles, Suns center Marcin Gortat will match up with Magic big man Glen Davis.
