Phoenix Suns head coach Alvin Gentry responded to critical remarks from center Marcin Gortat.

The Phoenix Suns have struggled to start the 2012 NBA regular season. The Suns are 4-7 and have the second-worst record in the Western Conference. To make matters worse, there appears to be dissension in the ranks.

Marcin Gortat of the Phoenix Suns expressed displeasure with how the team is performing, and recently made comments that seemed to express displeasure with Suns head coach Alvin Gentry.

Gortat talked with Polish media about his role in Phoenix and how he wasn't being utilized enough in the overall offensive gameplan, as Gentry seems to favor using Luis Scola more as a focal point on offense.

Gentry responded to the Gortat comments today. Seth Pollack of Bright Side of the Sun has the quotes from the Suns head coach, which don't seem particularly revealing about how Gentry will use Gortat going forward.

Gentry did say he doesn't expect anything will change in the near future, so there's nothing particularly revealing coming from these comments.
