Golden State Warriors 87, Phoenix Suns 85
The Suns couldn't find a way to capitalize on a terrible shooting night by the Warriors and didn't shoot particularly well themselves in their 87-85 loss to Golden State on Wednesday night. The Warriors' Klay Thompson was the only Golden State starter to score in double figures, and David Lee (2-of-16) and Stephen Curry (2-of 14) had terrible shooting nights.
Point guard Goran Dragic led the way for the Suns with 17 points, eight assists and six rebounds. Power forward Luis Scola added 15 points and 11 rebounds, and small forward Jared Dudley finished with 11 points and six rebounds. Shooting guard P.J. Tucker was the biggest contributor off the bench, scoring 10 points in 23 minutes of play.
The Suns will hope to bounce back against the Detroit Pistons on Friday night at US Airways Arena. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. PT.
