There's a trailer floating around the YouTube that claims to be a teaser for an upcoming Steve Nash documentary. Not a documentary produced by Steve Nash like the Terry Fox Story he did for ESPN's 30 for 30. This is touted as a documentary about Phoenix Suns point guard Steve Nash.
↵The trailer opens with actor Owen Wilson talking about Steve Nash's name, Steve Nash. "It's kind of a funny name isn't it. I'm just saying, Steve Nash. It's a little bit kind of like an action hero. It's a cool sounding name, Steve Nash, like a super hero."
↵The YouTube trailer claims that is its a "A Crunchtime Films production in association with Donnelly Films". A quick search of The Google doesn't turn up any history for either of those film companies.
↵Is their first work an exploration of Steve Nash's life and career? Or is this really just another Steve Nash self-deprecating joke along the lines of his famous Step Brothers spoof.
↵The answer is, who really cares.
↵If it is a legit Steve Nash documentary then we will watch it and can't wait for it. If it's a Steve Nash arranged joke that gets the name "Steve Nash" used more then so be it and we can't wait for the rest to unfold.
↵In true Steve Nash fashion, it's a win-win either way.
