Zach Randolph has matured as a basketball player, and the results are in: he is playing at a very high level, proving time and time again that his numbers are no fluke.
During the six games in the first round series against the San Antonio Spurs, Randolph scored 129 points, averaging 21.5. Through three quarters against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday afternoon, Randolph has dropped 26 points and scooped up 10 rebounds.
After years playing well but not quite breaking through, Randolph is finally showing the NBA world what he is capable of. He even made a three pointer against the Thunder.
Should Zach Randolph continue his performance during the NBA Playoffs, the Memphis Grizzlies could be a surprise entrant into the Western Conference Finals. With Mike Conley and Marc Gasol helping out in a pivotal road game, the Grizz are up 13 points with a quarter to play in Game 1.
