Marcin Gortat Breaks Nose, Laments Loss Of Modeling Career

Marcin Gortat, the only good thing to come of the Suns trade with the Magic, has played well in Phoenix. He's a rebounding (Polish) machine and has learned how to score off the pick and roll with Nash. And as he showed once again last night, he's a funny, funny guy.

Late in the third quarter of Friday's game against the Hornets, Marcin somehow collided with the back of Steve Nash's head and broke his nose. He dropped like he took a punch from Mike Tyson and bleed all over the court. It wasn't pretty.

It was the first time he broke his prodigious nose, an irony not lost on the big guy.

Here's how the nose looked after the game when Marcin did an interview with Fox Sports Arizona. He said he would be seeing the doctor this morning and was dizzy after the game. He's unsure about his status for Sunday.
