2012 NHL All-Star Game: Coyotes Keith Yandle Named To All-Star Team

Phoenix Coyotes defensemen Keith Yandle has been named to the 2012 NHL All-Star Team.

Phoenix Coyotes defensemen Keith Yandle has been having himself an excellent year thus far, but was made a bit better on Thursday with the announcement that he has been named to the 2012 NHL All-Star Team.

Yandle, the fifth year veteran out of Boston, MA, will be making his second All-Star game after being picked as an injury replacement last year, even though he came into it ranked sixth in scoring among all defensemen in the league. So far in the 2011-12 season Yandle has managed to score five goals, along with 25 points and is currently a plus 2.

The 2012 Tim Horton's NHL All-Star game will take place in Ottowa on January 29 at 2 pm MT with coverage on NBC.
