The Phoenix Coyotes are not moving to Winnipeg and to celebrate they are inviting fans to an open house at their home in Glendale, AZ. Jobing.com arena will play host to a free event on Wednesday, May 25 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event includes a tour of the Coyotes dressing room and is rumored to include a ceremonial eating of the Goldwater Institute's cupcakes.
↵"We are excited about the upcoming 2011-12 NHL season and would like to invite all Coyotes fans in the Valley to join us Wednesday night at Jobing.com Arena to receive more information about our fantastic season ticket packages and the great seats we have available," said Chief Operating Officer Mike Nealy.
↵The Coyotes enter yet another year without the long term stability of a permanent owner. Those who support this team are to be applauded but until this situation is permanently resolved the sports fans of the Phoenix area and going to resist giving their hearts over again.
↵If on the other hand, a deal can be reached with Matthew Hulsizer it would inject new energy and life into the Coyotes. A third season of uncertainty is not going to help anyone.
