The upcoming weekend for the Phoenix Coyotes will wrap up a rough four-game week. They'll enter the last weekend of December only two points out of first place in the Pacific Division.
The Coyotes are currently sitting in fourth place, but their 40 points are within striking distance of the 41 points of the Dallas Stars, or the 42 held by both the San Jose Sharks and Los Angeles Kings. The bad news is that the Coyotes will be playing their third straight game against a top team, as they face off against the Minnesota Wild on Saturday.
The Wild hold a 21-12-6 record and 48 points in the Northwest Division, were they sit in second place behind the Vancouver Canucks. Saturday's game will start at 4:00 PM MT and will be televised on FS-A Plus.
