Bryzgalov, Flyers Pay Visit To Coyotes

Former Coyote goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov makes his first return to Arizona as Coyotes look to even up season series with Flyers.

Phoenix Coyotes (13-8-3) host The Philadelphia Flyers (14-7-3) for the teams second and final matchup of the season. The Flyers won the first contest by a score of 2-1. 

The game will also marks the return of former Coyote goalie Ilya Bryzgalov to Jobing.com Arena. Bryzgalov has has not started in back-to-back games this season, so it is is unclear if he will be in the net for the Flyers tonight.  The Coyotes sent the goalies rights to the Flyers in the offseason, where he was quickly signed to a nine-year, $51 million contract. Bryzgalov made 30 saves in the teams first meeting.

The Coyotes were shut out for the fourth time this season in an emotional loss at Winnipeg Thursday. The Flyers got a victory in overtime against the Anaheim Ducks Friday Night.  

Chris Pronger (knee), James van Riemsdyk (upper-body), Andreas Lilja (high ankle sprain), Erik Gustafsson (wrist), Blair Betts (lower-body) will sit with injuries for the Flyers. Michal Rozsival (upper-body injury) remains sidelined for the Coyotes.

Game time is 6 p.m. Fox Sports Arizona Plus and Xtra Sports 910 will carry the game.
