The Coyotes made more roster moves today cutting 16 players from training camp.
GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have reduced their training camp roster by 16 players. There are now 28 players remaining in camp.
The following players have been assigned to the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes' American Hockey League affiliate:

Defenseman Shane Hnidy, who was in camp on a professional tryout (PTO), has suffered a shoulder injury and will be out indefinitely.The Coyotes will open the regular season by playing two games against the Boston Bruins at O2 Arena in Prague, Czech Republic, on Saturday, Oct. 9 and Sunday, Oct. 10 as part of the 2010 Compuware NHL Premiere before returning home to host the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday, Oct. 16 at 6 p.m. at Jobing.com Arena.
