At the end of his senior season and a second-team selection to the All-Pac-12 team, Arizona State Sun Devils linebacker Brandon Magee sees his immediate future in football, and not in baseball, where he's already received plenty of attention.

According to FOX Sports Arizona, the senior linebacker, who signed a multi-year deal with the Boston Red Sox after they drafted him in the 23rd round this year, is interested first in pursuing a career in football after he graduates from Arizona State.

"I think I've made it too far in the football world right now not to see how far it goes," Magee said in an online fan chat with Sun Devils fans on Wednesday.

Magee finished his senior season on a high note in the Sun Devils' victory over the Arizona Wildcats, recording 17 tackles, 14 of which were solo. Magee also shined against the USC Trojans in 2012, recording 13 tackles in Arizona State's loss.
