The Arizona State Sun Devils received a verbal commitement from junior college wide receiver Jaelen Strong on Tuesday, according to ASU blog House of Sparky. Strong chose Arizona State over offers from a number of BCS programs, including Arizona, Oregon State, South Carolina, and Texas Tech. He is rated as a four-star prospect by ESPN's recruiting services, and a three-star by both Rivals and Scout.

Strong is currently a freshman, so he will have three more years to play with the Sun Devils. He reportedly runs a sub-4.5 40 and is a big-bodied wideout at 6'4, 200 pounds. He caught 67 passes for 1,263 and 15 touchdowns with Pierce College in 2012.

Todd Graham's staff has received a string of junior college commitments recently, with five JC guys choosing the Sun Devils since Dec. 16. That brings the total number of JUCO additions in the 2013 class to six out of 19 overall.
