Despite that they've lost four straight, the Arizona State Sun Devils are favored by 21 points in their last home game of the year against the Washington State Cougars.
The Cougars (2-8) have lost all seven of their Pac-12 games this season but did manage to put up a good fight in their 44-36 loss to UCLA last Saturday. That performance was the first time in five games that Washington State had scored more than 20 points in a contest, though, so it makes sense that the Devils are such huge favorites.
Adding fuel to the blowout fire is the fact that Washington State will be without arguably its best playmaker in the form of wide receiver Marquess Wilson. Wilson announced he was leaving the program Saturday after claiming that head coach Mike Leach has abused him and his teammates. Wilson led the team in receptions (52), receiving yards (813) and receiving touchdowns (five).
