The Arizona State Sun Devils were on a bye this week and are now the only Pac-12 South team unbeaten in conference play.
At 2-0 in conference play and 4-1 overall, ASU currently sits atop the Pac-12 South division. The Sun Devils are ahead of the USC Trojans who are 2-1 in conference play. Colorado, which lost its first conference game on Saturday, is the only other Pac-12 South team with fewer than two conference losses.
Utah, one of the other preseason favorites in the Pac-12 South, lost to USC this past week and fell to 0-2 in conference play. Arizona State is one of only three Pac-12 teams still undefeated in conference play. Oregon and Oregon State are both 3-0 in the Pac-12 North.
While ASU sits atop the division, Arizona fell to the bottom of the Pac-12 South with its third straight Pac-12 loss. The Wildcats lost 54-48 to Stanford in overtime and are now 0-3 in conference play. The Wildcats, along with Utah and Washington State are the only teams still in search of their first conference win.
