The Arizona State Sun Devils and Arizona Wildcats both received votes in the Week 7 AP Top 25 poll on Sunday. The Sun Devils had a bye this week as they prepare for the Colorado Buffaloes on Thursday, while the Wildcats suffered an overtime loss to the Stanford Cardinal on Saturday.
ASU received 39 votes in the poll, the 31st most of any team. The Sun Devils are 4-1 and coming off two straight wins to start Pac-12 play.
The Wildcats have lost three straight games to start the conference schedule, but may be the best 0-3 Pac-12 team ever. After a blowout loss to the Oregon Ducks, they were narrowly defeated by the Oregon State Beavers before that Stanford loss. Apparently some voters are still impressed, as U of A received four votes in Week 7, good for the 35th-most.
Four Pac-12 teams made the Top 25. Oregon is at No. 2, Oregon State at No. 10, USC at No. 11, and Stanford rises to No. 17.
