The Arizona State Sun Devils were on a high two weeks ago, as they were undefeated in Pac-12 play with the Oregon Ducks coming to town for a Thursday night game on ESPN. Things have since turned sour, as the Ducks blew out ASU followed by a UCLA last-second victory in Tempe. The last two games have fans starting to turn negative, and star linebacker Brandon Magee isn't having any of that.
Magee spoke with reporters after practice on Tuesday, and lashed out at Sun Devils fans who have lost faith in the direction of the program after a pair of tough losses, via arizonaspots.com:
"Some of our fans don't even believe in us as a team anymore and they think that we're going to fall into the same season as last year -- I find that kind of ridiculous," Magee said following Tuesday's practice.
ASU will have a shot to get back on track in a big way when they visit the Oregon State Beavers this season. OSU lost last week against Washington to spoil an undefeated record, but the Beavs are still No. 11 in the BCS standings. The two teams face off at 8:30 p.m. MT on Saturday.
