The Sun Devils dropped out of the Coaches poll following a 43-21 loss against Oregon on Thursday.

The Arizona State Sun Devils dropped out of the polls following their 43-21 loss against the Oregon Ducks on Thursday.

Arizona State was ranked 24th in the Week 8 coaches poll, the fifth Pac-12 team in the top 25. Following the loss, the Sun Devils plummeted, only receiving 24 votes. They were one of three teams to drop out of the top 25 this week.

The Pac-12 still has some weight in the polls, with the Oregon State Beavers moving up two spots to ninth to give the Pac-12 three teams in the top 10. Oregon stayed firmly entrenched at number two while Alabama garnered every single first place vote.

The USC Trojans moved up to No. 8 following their 50-6 dismantling of the Colorado Buffalos. The Stanford Cardinal also enjoyed some success, jumping up four spots to No. 19. The UCLA Bruins are bringing up the Pac-12's rear in the coaches poll, getting a single vote to be the last team in consideration.
