Even though the Arizona State Sun Devils are one of the surprise teams in the Pac-12 at 5-1, head coach Todd Graham isn't kidding himself about the team's tough task ahead as the Sun Devils face the Oregon Ducks on Thursday. He told Fox Sports Arizona on Wednesday:
"Let's be realistic. We beat five teams we should have beat and we lost to a team we probably should have beat. We've got a long ways to go."
Arizona State goes into the contest ranked No. 24 and brings with it a seventh-ranked defense. In the kicking game, the Sun Devils are still searching for a viable solution at kicker. Graham has yet to name a starter, but said as of Tuesday that Alex Garoutte has a slight lead in the battle for the position.
The running back battle figures to showcase each team's depth at the all-important position. D.J. Foster, Cameron Marshall and Marion Grice each bring a unique and important set of skills to the backfield. So far in 2012, they've accounted for 19 of the Sun Devils' 30 touchdowns on the season.
