The Arizona St. Sun Devils posted a decisive victory over the Dartmouth Big Green on Saturday, 61-42, bouncing back from a tough loss to the DePaul Blue Demons. The Sun Devils never put the game completely out of reach, with the score as close as 35-26 early in the second half, but ASU stayed focused and handed Dartmouth its fourth consecutive loss.
Jahii Carson led the team with 18 points despite taking a rough shot in the first half. He also had six assists and three rebounds. Carrick Felix had a double-double, grabbing 14 rebounds, a career high, and putting up 13 points. As a team, the Sun Devils shot 45.6 percent, including a disappointing 2-for-14 on three-pointers. They managed to hold Big Green to 32.7 percent from the floor, and Dartmouth managed to sink only 5 of 16 free throws.
ASU improves to 9-2 with the win. Their next game is next Saturday, Dec. 22, against the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Tip-off is schedule for 12 p.m. MT.
