In his first season as head coach of the Arizona Wildcats, Rich Rodriguez is looking to get his squad started on the right foot as they take on the Toledo Rockets in their season opening matchup at Arizona Stadium.
Quarterback Matt Scott will have his first opportunity to show he is worthy of the starting position this season, looking to replace the production lost with former QB Nick Foles. Scott completed 66 of the 93 pass attempts he made in the 2010 season before redshirting during the 2011 season. Overall he has 1301 passing yards, six TD's and five interceptions in his time at Arizona.
On the injury front defensive lineman Kirifi Taula and Dan Pettinato are both questionable for Saturday's game, while cornerback Jonathan McKnight is probable with a shoulder injury.
