Aaron Gordon is probably the best prospect on the west coast for the 2013 recruiting class. Armed with incredible athleticism, a solid shooting touch and size to impact every play around the rim, it's no wonder Sean Miller and the Arizona coaching staff had made Gordon their No. 1 priority on the recruiting trail.
It has been believed UA and Washington are the leaders in his recruitment, and ESPN's fourth-ranked player confirmed that news on Thursday.
Here's the latest from the AAU circuit.

Most experts believe Washington is in the lead as of right now due to coach Lorenzo Romar and his great relationship with Gordon and his family, but the fact he is yet to commit is telling.
Similar to the Kaleb Tarczewski recruitment of last summer, which saw the seven-footer select Arizona over Kansas, the longer Gordon remains uncommitted, the better the situation looks for the Wildcats. The young forward has said he intends to make a decision in the spring once his high school season wraps up, but that could change at any moment.
Arizona does not currently have any players committed for the 2013 class, although that could change in the near future. The 'Cats are expected to take on three or four players on scholarship.
